New habit: with a task--set up for success with appropriate warmup, connection then expect excellence from the first try! Day 4. yoyo was excellent on the first try. Next--clean up sideways for excellence on the first try. As she had learned yoyo stop on life down and seems confident—can’t catch her in the escape etc—go on to another task.
Canter: avoid leaning forward, touch with leg just behind the girth, NO KISSING.
Canter to trot transition: be careful of my arms--not lifting the unconsciously as I begin the postintg trot

Yesterday I was so proud of myself--riding with both Bethanna and Kyra in the ring--no apologies for myself--feeling physically strong, did 5 laps of no stirrups posting trot for my strength (5/6 mile) and lots of trot, playing with HQ yields and Try offered canter and I felt I was sitting it really well in the close contact saddle as I had not ridden in it with Try since ??December??.
So going ahead and really doing a full session makes me feel great and is a habit I want.ps Try was in a good humor/my leadership/purpose/other horses she likes in the ring?? Either way a good day So currently one goal for doing more is 1/3 mile without stopping for no stirrups posting trot.

Replace with another habit? whose voice is that speaking anyway? "I am following my instinct and doing what feels right for me at this time."
Journaling our progress is a great habit and I am proud of myself for establishing this as a habit for myself. Also Parelli Connect logging hours and savvy is good and I have not missed an entry since November! Yeah Me.
A new habit I want to acquire is to mount and wait for a count of 20 to avoid assumptions, help me as RBE not to be in a hurry. We have done this for 3 days and it feels great. Established riding warmup habits of walk til we blow and my pilates exercises are great habits to have.
Also more of a warmup, after the initial walk, allowing Try to pick her desired speed within a gait. Then lateral flexion and HQ diseng.
